Alright, good day everyone, it's Omex here, and welcome back to another video on this channel. Today we're talking about the most ratty, broken formation on FC25 in the right hands. In the right setup, the 4411 has the most undefendable mechanic in the game, which we'll be talking about later.
4411 Formation Tactics: The Blueprint for Domination
Here's the breakdown of the tactics that make the 4411 so effective.
- Build Up Play: Balanced. This is key to unlocking the formation's potential. You can try Counter if first time through balls aren't your thing, but balanced is the way to go.
- Defensive Approach: Balanced, with a 50 depth. This keeps things solid without pushing too high up the pitch.
Player Roles: Key to Unleashing the 4411's Power
Let's dive into the player roles, because these are crucial.
- Striker: Advanced Forward and Attack. He'll be offside sometimes, but we need him on that last line of defense, ready to make those runs.
- CAM: This is the single most important player.
- Playmaker role is a must. Having someone with at least a plus version of this role is crucial.
- Long Ball play style is absolutely essential. The silver one is fine, but the gold one is even better. Trust me, it changes everything. Scoring goals on the counter will be so easy it's not even funny.
- Midfielders (Left and Right): Inside Forward and Balanced. Balanced is always the meta option.
- Center Mids:
- One: Box to Box. I like this for the extra passing option around the opponent's box. You can have him stay back if you need an extra defender.
- One: Playmaker with Attack Focus. The playmaker just needs to be there. You can also use Holding or Deeply Playmaker.
- Fullbacks:
- Attacking Fullback: Stay Back While Attacking and Balanced. It's a me thing. The full meta option is having him on fullback role.
- Other Fullback: Fullback and Balanced.
- Center Backs: Defender and Defend. Always.
- Goalkeeper: Sweeper Keeper and Balanced.
Gameplay: Dominating the Pitch with the 4411
The 4411 is great at so many things.
- Midfield Dominance: It's incredibly dominant in midfield.
- Long Ball Threat: The long balls are always there, especially with the CAM.
- Diagonal Runs: The left and right sides have those diagonal runs, adding to your firepower.
- Striker's Role: The lone striker up top, on paper, will be outnumbered, but in reality, the wide formation stretches the opponent's defense. The fullbacks will drift wide to mark the wide runners, leaving space for your target man.
- Structure and Tempo Control: The best thing about the 4411 is the structure. You have layers of players spread evenly across the pitch, making it perfect for dictating the tempo and controlling the game. You hardly find yourself lacking passing options. Defensively, it's one of the better formations.
I can clearly see why lots of pros are deciding to stick with the 4411. It's an absolutely brilliant setup. I definitely encourage you to give it a try.
