Alright everyone, it's Omex, and welcome back to another video! I've been grinding FC25 non-stop since the patch dropped, testing out all my old tactics to see what's still fire. So, in this video, I'm dropping my top five formations after the patch, with the tactics codes included, of course. Let's dive in!
Number 5: The 4-5-1 Flat - Midfield Maestro
Coming in at number five, we've got the 4-5-1 flat. This formation is still a total domination in the midfield. It's incredibly secure defensively, and I really dig that most players have the space to trigger those L1 runs without instantly getting offside. It's more suited for a patient style of football, but it's still one of the better formations out there. Here's the code for the 4-5-1 flat tactics:

I'll make sure to put all these codes down in the description as well, so you can copy them easily.
Number 4: The 5-2-1-2 - Solid, But Not Top Tier
Alright, at number four, we've got the 5-2-1-2. I actually made a video on this one last night, so make sure to check it out if you haven't already, because it's pretty solid, maybe even slightly better after the patch. Here's the code:
- [Insert Code Here]
For me personally, it doesn't rank any higher on the list because with the changes to the midfield, there's more space to work with in the middle.
Number 3: The 5-3-2 - Defensive Fortress with Attacking Flair
At number three, we have the 5-3-2. This formation is really going to shine. Defensively, it's got an extra player in the midfield, so obviously, it's better than the 5-2-1-2 in that department. But even going forward, instead of having one CAM, you now have two CMs, which you can set on playmaker or box-to-box. So, you can even have an extra midfielder on the attack! For me, it's a superior five-at-the-back formation. Here's the code:
- [Insert Code Here]
Number 2: The 4-4-2 Flat - The Balanced Beast
At number two, we have the classic, the 4-4-2 flat. This is the most balanced formation on the game, you all know what it's about. It's just a perfectly suited formation for FC25, and I'm not sure what EA can do to make this formation not good on this game. So, still after the patch, it plays just as good as before. I've made a little adjustment to my tactics, so here are the codes:
- [Insert Code Here]
If you're playing my previous 4-4-2, make the switch to this one. I've been rocking it for a while, and it's better than the previous one.
Number 1: The 4-2-1-3 - Still Broken, Still Dominant
And finally, at number one, I doubt if anybody is shocked, you're all expecting it: it's still the most broken formation in the game, the 4-2-1-3. I would have loved to put the 4-4-1-1 somewhere on the list, but with the nerf to the first-time lofted through balls, I have to confirm the 4-4-1-1 is gone. You can still make it work, but you won't get the same consistency with it anymore. But with the 4-2-1-3, you have those two CDMs falling back more than any center mid would, making this formation practically a six-at-the-back. I know it's a brain-dead playstyle, but every time you get the ball back, you have a CAM and three attackers always somehow free for a quick counterattack. With less midfield congestion in the middle, it's nice to have that extra defensive support from the CDMs, and it's even easier to go on a counterattack and find space and score directly. It was already broken before, and it's even stronger now. I'll guarantee you'll be seeing a lot of the 4-2-1-3 in Division One and above, so have one of your own in your locker. Here's the code:

Anyway, that's it for today's episode, everyone!
